Install and update

Getting Circo onto your PC

Windows shows “Unknown publisher”

Version 1.1.6 is not Authenticode-signed. Download only from trycirco.com and compare the SHA-256 checksum on the download page before continuing.

Which installer should I choose?

Use x64 for most Intel and AMD PCs. Use ARM64 for a Windows on Snapdragon PC. The universal build contains both.

An update is available

Choose when to download it and when to restart. Circo checks after launch and periodically while it is open.

Uninstalling Circo

Remove Circo from Windows Settings under Installed apps. Local app data is retained unless you remove it separately.

Using Circo

Shortcuts, search and text

Alt + C conflicts with another app

Open Preferences, click the shortcut control, and record another key combination. An optional Ctrl + Shift + S backup can also be enabled there.

Google Lens does not open

Check your connection, try a smaller selection, and confirm that Google Lens is available on your network.

OCR missed or changed text

Select a tighter region with clear, upright text. Very small, stylized, blurred, or low-contrast text may be harder to recognize.

Translation failed

Confirm you are online and select a shorter, readable passage. Circo splits longer text into smaller requests automatically.

The pill is in the wrong place

Open Preferences to change its anchor, size, opacity, appearance, or visibility.

Mixed monitor scaling looks wrong

Move the cursor to the display you want before triggering Circo. If alignment remains wrong, include your display scaling percentages when contacting support.

Account and access

Sign-in, Free and Pro

The browser did not return to Circo

Keep Circo open during sign-in. Return to the app and start the connection again if the page says the request expired.

The SMS code did not arrive

Check the country code and number, then wait for the resend timer. Delivery depends on the carrier and enabled Firebase SMS regions.

How Free works

A signed-in Free account includes 150 searches. Guest use has a small daily allowance.

Pro did not refresh

Open Account in Circo and refresh access. Make sure you are using the same account that completed payment.

Payment or refund question

Email contact@trycirco.com with the account email and payment reference. Do not send card or banking details.

Clear history and local data

Clear recent history in the Control Center. For broader data questions, read the Privacy Notice or email support.
