Yes. Enable “Start at login” in Preferences. Circo will start hidden when you sign in to Windows.

Circle is useful when you want to isolate an object naturally. Box selection is quicker for text blocks, tables, or rectangular areas. Both create a crop only after you trigger Circo.

Circo uses Google Lens for visual search. The crop you selected is uploaded over HTTPS so Lens can return visual matches.

Windows reads the selected text on your PC. Circo may create a temporary file while it works and deletes that file when it finishes.

Circo first runs OCR locally and sends the extracted words to Microsoft Azure Translator. The screenshot is not sent to the translation provider.

A search is counted when it begins so retries do not create duplicate use. A cancelled, failed, or interrupted search may occasionally count.

Not in the current release. Audio recognition remains disabled, and Circo does not send an audio-recognition request.

Open Preferences and select the shortcut control, then press the key combination you want. The optional Ctrl + Shift + S backup shortcut is available separately and is off by default.

Yes. Circo supports multiple displays and mixed scale factors. It associates the capture with the display nearest the active cursor and selection context.

Up to 50 entries can be stored in Circo’s local app-data directory, including text and a compressed thumbnail. Clear the full history from Circo whenever you want.

You can try 5 actions each day on one device without an account. A signed-in Free account gets 150 searches in total. The 150 searches do not reset.

Yes. Choose your country or territory, enter your phone number, and confirm the 6-digit code sent by SMS. Google securely handles this sign-in step for Circo.

The page is opened by the Circo desktop app with a short-lived local callback. Close the page and start sign-in again from Circo instead of reusing an old tab or copied URL.

Circo uses Windows account protection when it is available. Secure sign-in codes are sent over encrypted connections when Circo checks your account, searches left, or Pro plan.

Use Sign out in Circo. That removes the connected account credentials. Ordinary updates, reinstalls, and uninstall/reinstall do not intentionally clear the encrypted account link.

No. Circo sells fixed 30-day and one-year Pro access as one-time purchases. They do not renew automatically.

The new time is added after your current Pro plan ends, so none of the time you already paid for is lost.

Razorpay handles payment credentials, available methods, fraud checks, refunds, and disputes. Circo receives references and status but not your complete card, UPI, wallet, or bank details.

Keep the Razorpay payment ID shown by checkout. Restart Circo and confirm you are using the same account. If access still does not appear, email contact@trycirco.com with the account email and payment reference.

An approved refund can remove the Pro time bought with that payment. A payment dispute can pause that time while the payment company reviews it.

It checks for updates shortly after launch and every four hours while open, but it does not download them automatically. You choose when to download.

No. A screen capture begins only after you use the shortcut, floating pill, or tray action.

No. Circo does not sell personal information or screen captures to advertisers or data brokers.
