The current installer is not code-signed yet.

Windows SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC.” This is expected for version 1.1.13. Download only from trycirco.com and compare the SHA-256 checksum above before you run it.

Installation guide

From download to first circle.

Check your system type

Open Windows Settings → System → About. Under “System type,” choose x64 or ARM64 above. Choose Universal if you still are not sure.

Verify the file if you want extra assurance

Open PowerShell in the Downloads folder and run Get-FileHash .\Circo-Setup-1.1.13-x64.exe -Algorithm SHA256. The result should match the published checksum exactly.

Run the installer

Double-click the downloaded file. If SmartScreen appears, choose “More info,” confirm the app is Circo and the file came from trycirco.com, then choose “Run anyway.”

Open Circo

The installer adds Circo for your Windows user, creates shortcuts, and opens the app when installation finishes. Administrator access is not required.

Try the default shortcut

Press Alt + C, select a region, and choose an action. You can change the shortcut, floating pill, theme, language, and startup behavior in Preferences.

Updates

You decide when to install.

Circo checks shortly after launch and every four hours while open. It shows when an update is available; downloads do not begin automatically.

Which installer should I choose?

Choose x64 for most Intel or AMD PCs, ARM64 for Snapdragon and other ARM Windows PCs, or Universal when you want one download that contains both.

Why does SmartScreen warn me?

The current installer is not digitally signed yet. Windows treats unfamiliar unsigned software carefully. Check the SHA-256 code shown on this page and only download Circo from trycirco.com.

Will I need administrator access?

No. Circo installs only for your Windows account and does not ask for administrator access.

Will an update erase my settings or account?

No. Normal updates and reinstalls keep your settings and saved account. Signing out removes the connected Circo account.
