Before you install.

No. Capture begins after you trigger Circo from a shortcut, the floating pill, or the tray.

OCR runs through Circo’s native Windows component. Visual-search crops are sent to Google Lens, while text selected for translation is sent to the translation provider.

Circo keeps up to 50 recent entries in a JSON file in the app’s local user-data folder. Entries can include text and image thumbnails. The full history can be cleared from the Control Center.

Yes. Preferences include the primary shortcut, pill visibility, size, opacity, appearance, and placement.

Circo captures the display nearest your cursor and handles display coordinates and scaling independently, including mixed-DPI arrangements.

After you sign in, the free trial includes 200 searches in total. The counter is stored by the current desktop build. Paid plans are designed for unlimited supported searches.

No for visual search. Circo captures the region you draw and sends that crop directly to Google Lens. Local OCR briefly uses a temporary image file and removes it after processing.

Guest use is available with a small daily allowance. Signing in unlocks the 200-search free trial and keeps the account token protected with Windows operating-system encryption.

Circo stops counted actions and directs you to the account area. Pro access is intended to remove the search limit; checkout is still being connected, so contact support if you want early access.

Circo checks for updates after launch and periodically while it is running. When one is available, you choose when to download it and when to restart to install it.

The current installer is not yet Authenticode-signed. Verify the filename and SHA-256 checksum on the download page before continuing. Signing is planned for a later release.
